String Time is a free, open-source guitar practice tracker. It runs entirely in your browser. By using it you agree to the terms below.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The authors are not liable for any lost data, lost practice time, broken strings, bruised fingers, or any other outcome of using the tool.

Not professional instruction

String Time is a practice tracker. It is not a teacher and not a replacement for lessons with a qualified instructor.

Your data

Your practice history, custom chords, routines and progressions are stored in your own browser (IndexedDB). We do not run a server that holds them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or probe the site for vulnerabilities beyond what a normal practice session needs.
• Don't publish a copy that misrepresents authorship or impersonates this site.

Age

No account is required, and no personal information is collected or transmitted by this site. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use by minors.
